Admission Guidelines for International Students:
The office of the International Admission Desk (IAD) at USTM operates and controls the various aspects of the university’s International students’ admission and cross-cultural competency. This IAD also initiates global citizenship amongst students, faculty members, researchers and other visitors considering the needs of global education. The core initiatives are:-
International Students Admission:
The IAD of USTM welcomes students and research scholars from different parts of the world to the university providing excellent infrastructure and facilities to pursue higher education and making enhanced career growth. This International Admission Desk is referred to as Key Nodal Point for all the international students who require any kind of support from admission to the final award of degrees to the international students.
Courses Offered and Eligibility:
USTM offers wide verities of multi-disciplinary courses at various levels by following the admission eligibility criteria: –
Diploma Programmes – Qualifying O level or 10th Std. or Equivalent
Under Graduate Programme – Qualifying A level or 10+2 Std. or Equivalent
Post Graduate Programme – Qualifying Graduation or Equivalent
Research / Doctoral Programme – Qualifying Post Graduations
All the applicants shall have knowledge in English or English as a subject in 10th Std. or O level. In case of qualifying examination in English medium, students should submit proof of the same while taking in admission in USTM.
Admission Process:
A. Submission of copies of academic certificates, birth proof certificates, passports or any other documents as proof of identity for citizenship of a particular country.
B. Confirmation of Admission by the admission committee after receiving all the valid documents and submission of a letter of declaration for immigration to the admission committee, then the admission committee will send a Provisional Admission Letter.
C. Payment of Admission fees to the International Admission Desk either through net banking or online transfer for confirming the admission.
D. After receiving the stipulated fees the Admission Authority will issue an Admission Confirmation letter along with a Visa Invitation letter which may send to the respective Indian Embassy from the country student originally belongs and a copy to the applicant.
E. Then the student may apply for Visa to the Indian consulate or embassy after submission of the admission confirmation letter along with a copy of the Visa invitation letter to receive the Visa.
F. After completion of all the admission formalities the student will deposit the Hostel fees for the first academic year, then the student will arrive at the campus for reporting and registration to the particular course.
